About Felicita "Fela" Chipak, MS, CCC-SLP
Hi, I’m Felicita—though most people call me Fela! I’m a pediatric speech-language pathologist working in the beautiful Hudson Valley, NY. My passion for helping children find their voices and connect with the world runs deep.
Education and Training
I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Communication Disorders from SUNY New Paltz. My academic journey gave me a strong clinical foundation and also fueled my desire to think outside the box when it comes to therapy.
A Unique Approach to Therapy
With a lifelong love for technology and art, I bring creativity and innovation into every therapy session. Whether it’s using green-screen technology to create immersive virtual worlds, developing interactive games, or crafting personalized activities, I strive to make learning engaging and fun for children.
Outside of Work
When I’m not in therapy sessions, you’ll probably find me exploring new artistic mediums, tinkering with the latest tech, or enjoying the natural beauty of my community with my family, and our Jack Russel mix, Ricky. These hobbies inspire my work and keep me excited to discover new ways to connect with my students.
